Vintage Linen Coasters

Designed by Amy Polcyn
Vintage Linen Coasters

Add an extra dash of charm to your table with these lovely coasters. Their small size makes them a fabulous quick gift idea, and they are ideal for practicing new stitches. The interesting texture is created by crocheting into only the back loops of some stitches, leaving the front loops open to make a small ridge.

Skill level: Easy

Materials

• 1 skein Soft Linen by Classic Elite Yarns, 35% linen, 35% wool, 30% alpaca (137 yds/50g) in each of colors 2204 Titian Blue (A) and 2206  Thistle (B)
• U.S. size E-4 (3.5mm) crochet hook, or size required for gauge
• Yarn needle

Response to question
Hi Jacqueline, and thank you for your message. For round 3, you will work a sc in the same st as your join, then sc in next st, then 2 sc in the next st. After that, you will work [sc 2, 2 sc in next st] around. I hope this helps, but please let me know if you have any other questions.
